River and Moor is not just another sporting agency, we go that extra mile in every respect. From your first point of contact with our office to hosting your day in the field, every detail is taken care of.
Britain is home to some of the most enviable driven game shooting in the world, which is why visitors travel from all over to shoot here.
Every shoot is different in topography and scenery and also hospitality, which creates various opportunities for the roaming syndicate and individual gun.
Whether it’s boar in Europe, high pheasants in Devon or driven grouse in Scotland our expertise and knowledge is here to create that amazing experience that surpasses your expectations.
We do not have a minimum size day or spend as we believe everyone should have the opportunity for great sport in amazing locations.
WHAT WE OFFER
A TYPICAL SHOOT DAY
If you are staying locally, one of our agents will meet you and introduce themselves the night before and give you a brief for the next morning. Your host will then escort you to the shoot if you haven’t been there before or arrange to meet you there if it is a returning visit.
Typically arriving at the shoot between 8.45 and 9.00am, introductions to the shoot host, keeper and when booked loaders. A quick coffee and shoot brief around 9.30 load up to head off to the first drive.
After the first two drives elevenses are served in the field, following this is another drive and if you are shooting through then another drive otherwise lunch. After lunch one more drive and then finish with tea and cake.
Where loaders have been booked we ask that they are paid before going in to dinner of coffee.
